The overall condition of this bass is ok. There is plenty of Buckle Rash on the back of this bass. The front is in good condition with a little pick marking on the pickguard. If you are interested in the bass but would like more detailed pictures please call me on (07)33699530 and I can make that happen.
Also our repairer Rohan Staples has just given this bass a once over so she's ready to go.

One of the things i love in the world of Japanese guitars are the quirky signature models for local
guitarists. The DB-1200 was the Heesey model for the bassist from the band The Yellow Monkey,
who was known for his extensive bass collection and love for Rickenbacker bass models. This is the
higher end DB model with a set neck construction that retailed for $2000AUD new back in the late
1990's.
A unique body design with a gloss black finish and classy cream binding. Featuring a mahogany body
with a maple top and neck, it weighs a hefty 4.6kg's. Rosewood fingerboard with some gorgeous
inlays, it's a full 86cm scale with full access to all 22 frets due to the compact double cutaway design.
Other features to note include the Grover tuners and dual Power Storm active humbuckers.
Lightly used condition with some basic signs of use, but it's been well looked after and is set up with
a nice smooth low action. Plays and sounds great!
