Shipping policy
All orders are usually dispatched within 1-2 business days. If for any reason this isn't possible, we will contact you within that time-frame with more information.
The Guitar Shop is pleased to be able to offer Australia-wide free freight on orders over $99*. This is usually a standard 2-5 business day service using Australia Post, StarTrack or TNT (depending on your location and the size of the shipment).
For most orders, you can also choose to pay extra to have your item sent Express, which should normally reduce the shipping time to 1-2 business days.
*Due to the enormity of our country and the cost of freighting some larger or fragile items there are a few exceptions to our free freight offer, most notably larger amps.

The Guitar Shop offers Australia-wide shipping on all orders. Occasionally due to issues with delivering to remote or unusual destinations, we aren't able to offer free shipping. We reserve the right to amend shipping costs in order to get your order to you in the most effective way possible. We will always notify you if there is an issue and offer a full refund if our shipping options aren't agreeable.
Most print music and accessories will be shipped using Australia Post. Larger items including guitars, cases, amps, etc must be shipped using our courier or freight service providers, with a tracking number and signature on delivery. Please note that we cannot ship guitars and large items via Australia Post due to size restrictions, and these items must be signed for on delivery; We cannot ship large items to a PO Box nor will ever agree to requests for items be left without a signature. Deliveries to most major capital cities are usually within 2 - 4 business days, and regional areas and WA deliveries are usually within 8 working days.
The Music Junction Group has stores located in Blackburn & East Hawthorn in Melbourne and Paddington Brisbane, Australia. Your order may come from any of these locations or directly from our suppliers. We ship daily at 2pm (Monday to Friday) excluding Victorian public holidays. Where the product listing allows, you are welcome to pick your order up instore, but we will require photo identification that must match the details on the order. If you have items you wish to collect at a store but currently, the listing does not allow for pickup, please drop us an email and we see if that can be accommodated.
