The overall condition of this National is pretty good. The front of the guitar is spotless but as you can see from my pictures there seems to have been some sort of reaction to the matte finish on the back and sides. I'm awaiting an opinion from our Repairer to know exactly what has happened over its last 15 years of life. The owner of this guitar was not well when he brought it into to me and he wants the funds to go to his family so if you are intertested please feel free to make a reasonable offer knowing the money spent will be of great use to the current owners wife and children.
P.S There is one diamond shape fret maker missing as well.
The National Reso-Phonic Resolectric bridges the gap between traditional resonator tones and solidbody electric guitars. It features a solid mahogany body with a figured maple cap, a 14-fret figured maple or mahogany neck, and dual pickups (a magnetic pickup and a piezo transducer) with an active buffered preamp
Body: Solid mahogany, often paired with a maple top and elegant ivoroid binding
Pickups: Traditional variants (often referred to as the "Revolver") feature a Jason Lollar Firebird or P-90 pickup in the neck position and a Fishman Nashville or Highlander piezo underneath the resonator cone
Electronics: A specialized buffered preamp allows players to blend the magnetic and piezoelectric pickups for a massive array of tones, from clean, sparkling acoustic highs to gritty, overdriven electric sounds
Neck: Bolt-on design featuring National's neck-tilt adjustment, allowing for quick, effortless action changes without re-slotting the bridge
Fretboard: Premium ebony or rosewood fretboard with mother-of-pearl position markers
